Getting started

How does it work?

Record yourself (or upload a clip), pick a Stand-in, and we swap you for that person. Your timing, gestures and energy stay; your face and body don’t. Videos are usually ready in 2–4 minutes.

How do I get the best result?

One person in frame, face visible, decent light, phone held steady at arm’s length. Avoid covering your face with your hands for long. Vertical video works best.

Can I upload a video I already filmed?

Yes. Anything filmed in your camera app, CapCut or another app works. Vertical, one person, clearly visible.

How long can videos be?

Up to 15 seconds on Starter, 30 on Creator and Pro, or up to 60 with the long clip add-on.

Characters and My Stand-in

Is the person real?

No. Every Stand-in is a generated, fictional person. You can’t upload or describe a real or famous person.

Can I keep the same face on every video?

Yes. Create your own Stand-in once and it stays the same person in every video, so your account feels like one real creator.

What can’t I create?

Anyone under 18, real or famous people, or sexual content. See the acceptable use policy.

Plans, wallet and billing

What’s the difference between a plan and the wallet?

Plans include a set number of videos each month. The wallet is pay as you go: load from $10 and each video costs $1.99 (up to 15s) or $2.99 (up to 30s).

What do add-ons cost?

Captions $0.49 and voice swap $0.49 (both included in Creator and Pro), HD $1.99, long clip $2.99. You always see the total before you make a video.

What if a video fails?

Failed videos never count against your plan, and any wallet amount is returned automatically.

How do I cancel?

From your account, tap “Manage or cancel subscription” and cancel. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for.

How does the Halloween bonus work?

Subscribe to any plan before the end of October 31 and get 5 extra videos free. Load $25 into your wallet and get 2 free videos, or load $50 and get 5. Bonus videos never expire.

How do referrals work?

Share your invite link from your account. Your friend gets 2 free videos and you get 3 when they make their first purchase.

Privacy and safety

What happens to my recording?

It’s used only to make your video. You can delete any video at any time from its page. Full details are in our privacy policy.

Can I opt out of data sharing?

Yes, anytime on our Do Not Sell or Share page. Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are opted out automatically.

How do I delete my account?

Open your account and tap “Delete my account” at the bottom. It deletes your videos, recordings and Stand-ins right away. Wallet money can’t be refunded after that.

Posting safely

Do I need to label my videos as AI?

Yes, where platforms require it. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube each have an AI-generated label you can turn on when you post. Labeling keeps your account in good standing.

How do I post?

Download your video or use Share on your phone to send it to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or CapCut.
