Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
Stand-in exists to let people create without exposing themselves. It must never be used to expose, deceive or hurt anyone else.
Not allowed
- Other people in your recording without their permission, and anyone under 18, ever.
- Impersonating real people: no Stand-in may be made or presented to look like, or be passed off as, a real, identifiable person.
- Sexual or nude content. Uploads are screened automatically and rejected.
- Deception that causes harm: fraud, scams, fake endorsements or reviews, or misinformation designed to mislead people about real events or people.
- Harassment, hate, threats or content that targets individuals.
- Anything illegal, or anything that breaks the rules of the platform you post to.
Labeling
Label your videos as AI-generated wherever platforms or the law require it. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube all offer a one-tap AI label when you post.
Enforcement
We may refuse renders, remove content and suspend or close accounts that break this policy. Report misuse to support@standinai.com.
