How a video as Dev is made
- 1. Film yourself. One person in frame, decent light, phone held steady. Your own clothes; by default Dev wears what you wear.
- 2. Pick Dev. On the create page, choose Dev from the ready-made Stand-ins.
- 3. Post. Keep your voice or swap it in one tap. Usually ready in about 10 minutes. Tap the AI-generated label when you post, as the platforms ask.
Questions about Dev
- Is Dev a real person?
- No. Dev is a generated, fictional Stand-in. He belongs to no one and is not based on a real or famous person.
- What does a video as Dev look like?
- Like the video you filmed, with Dev in your place. Your room, your clothes, your framing and your real movements stay; your face and body are replaced by Dev's. Your voice stays unless you swap it.
- Does it cost extra to use Dev?
- No. Every ready-made Stand-in is free on any video. You pay for the video itself, and you see the price before you make it.
- Can I use Dev on every video so my account looks like one creator?
- Yes. Pick Dev each time and the same person appears in every post. For a face nobody else can use, create your own Stand-in.
